Welcome to The Bothy, a family friendly, independent bistro with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We offer an all day style menu using the very best ingredients Moray has to offer. We have recently installed a stone baked pizza oven too and offer a range of extremely tasty authentic artisan pizzas. This is in addition to our weekend specials, including vegetarian dishes and locally caught seafood. We bake all our own bread and cakes in house, which we serve with freshly ground artisan coffee from Vandyke Bros in Cromarty.
Our menu is designed to make a visit to The Bothy a memorable and relaxed experience… Enjoy some charcuterie from the antipasti menu while you browse the menu. Select a wine from our friends at Albet I Noya – the first Organic Vineyard in Spain. If it’s a special occasion, a night out with friends or you just want to spoil yourself there is always our fabulous cocktails to choose from!
Our rear courtyard garden is dog-friendly and great for those lazy afternoons in the sun; grazing on freshly landed seafood while sipping a glass of chilled white.
We are currently open four days a week from Thursday through to Sunday all year round.
In addition to The Bothy we also run luxury self catering cottages in Burghead, the very popular West Beach Caravan Park in Hopeman and the newly opened Bootleggers Bar & Grill.

Fri & Sat - 9.30am until late
